COVERSLUT© is a fashion label founded by Grace Ndiritu in 2016. It focuses on dealing with issues of race, gender and class politics. It incorporates Capitalist, Pay What You Can (PWYC) and Ethical/Environmental strategies into its economic framework.

The second COVERSLUT© event aimed to activate fashion through spiritual trance dance featuring spiritual dancer, Pantha Bhaktia.

Free meditation workshops were also offered in preparation for the event. Also in attendance, an artist-in-residence soapmaker using plants grown from the venue’s garden for the sustainable maintenance of the space.

Clothes from the colorful new collection Elegant Hippie were available to be purchased and danced in the same evening. Indian food was prepared on the premises in conjunction with the screening of a psychedelic film, to be viewed from atop scattered rugs and pillows on the floor.
